We offer full, on the job training for those who have never worked in this environment before. You will need to have a good telephone manor and must be computer and keyboard literate. Some local knowledge of Worthing roads will be a benefit. This is a 24/7, 365 day a year business, so staff must be flexible in the hours that they may be required to work.

Drivers
To join our company as a driver you need to hold a valid Worthing Private Hire License, issued by the council. If you already hold one of these then give us a call, there is a job waiting for you here NOW.
Never done it before then read on because there's a lot you need to do!
You have to contact Worthing Borough Council, licensing department's Hackney
Carriage and Private Hire Officer. You will need to fill in application
forms, you will have to have a medical from your doctor, we have links to on
this page for all forms, so you can print them out in advance and fill them
in and see how much the costs will be.
When you take your completed forms to The council along with your money you
will then be given a Criminal Record Bureau check to fill out and pay for.
Until your CRB check returns with the all clear, you will be unable to take
any knowledge tests required to hold a Private hire License! Our suggestion
is get the forms filled in hand them to the council and get stuck into a
Worthing Borough map-book, look at every route you drive, notice the road
names and the roads that are off of them etc.
Once you get your license your need to have a plated car. This car must be less than 7 years old, 4 door saloon, estate, MPV that will have to undertake and pass a full inspection from the council's workshop.
