Mercury Mobile™
is the product of years of market
research and customer feedback by Exel Management. Since 2005, we have
worked together to provide a booking and despatch facility that is
second to none in this area.
The system works by sending each booking via a GPRS signal to a driver's
PDA. This PDA is then able to be tracked by Satellite by our office. For
safe measure each PDA is installed with TomTom™
Satellite Navigation System
which cuts down on drivers not having to look in a map book should they
have a memory lapse of where a certain road is!
Cabfind™ was taken on by A2B in May 2005 as our internet booking suppliers. As well as being available to the public though our website, we have also been able to install this internet booking facility in some Large Hotels in Worthing as well as some of our Account customers head offices.
In Late 2006 Cabfind™ installed our office with the facility to accept bookings from the public via an SMS text Message from mobile phones. Its simple, all you have to do is start your message will A2B and then add your booking to the message. You receive a confirmation SMS text with your very own booking reference number allocated to you.
CallBack is a free facility that
enables you to know when a driver is approaching.
When you book a car with our call centre simply ask them for "CallBack"
on your booking.
Now save the number "01903216093" into your phone under the name "A2B
Approaching".
When your driver is in your road or outside the Bar/restaurant you are
in, he will press a button on his PDA which will send a signal back to a
remote line in our call centre that will ring your phone to let you know
your car is nearly there. If you have saved the phone number above then
your phone display will show "A2B Approaching" meaning you do not have
to answer the phone, instead put your coat on and come to the door!
Autobook is another free
facility that we offer business premises such as Restaurants, hair
salons and dentists.
We give you a completely separate number to dial, the twist is that
nobody will actually answer your call, meaning that as your call
"technically" does not connect at our end you phone company will not
charge you for the call.
Our advanced Call centre's phone system will recognise your incoming
call and instantly put a booking in from your establishment at the top
of our job queue. The job is then despatched to a driver.
You only need to let the phone ring for 2 rings your end and then hang
up. After about 10 seconds after putting the phone down, you will get 2
rings back on your phone to confirm that the call has been received.
